Mongaup Hardenburg Trail Rehabilitation Project
Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th
Join the Catskills Trail Crew to continue our great work restoring the trails in the Willowemoc Beaverkill region. We will clear brush and overgrowth on a 1.5-mile section of the Mongaup Hardenburgh Trail. Plan to hike between 5 and 7 miles on hilly terrain and perform moderately strenuous work.
Meet at Mongaup Pond Campground day use area:

Meeting time: 8:30 AM.
MANDATORY: Bring water, work gloves, snacks for break time and your lunch.
Safety glasses are required. Please bring those if you have them. If you do not have your own, they will be provided. Also recommended: long sleeve shirt, long pants and sturdy shoes/work boots.
End time: 4:30 PM, approximate.
This Event counts as part of Trail U curriculum.
Attending this worktrip will fulfill the "Non-Trail U NYNJTC Event" elective for any of the 3 curriculum tracks. Fill out your attendance in the Trail U Brochure to track your progress and earn a patch upon completion!
